ANZAC ART

ANZAC day is a very important day to NZ and Australia.  It is a chance to celebrate and show our appreciation for the soldiers who fought in the war and some who lost their lives to make our country a great place to live.

We wear poppies to remember the soldiers each year around ANZAC day.  You may like to create some art to show your appreciation for the soldiers.

A real Poppy
What we wear on ANZAC day.

Pastel Art - Use a pencil to lightly draw a poppy and colour with pastel.

Collaging - Draw a picture of a poppy.  Rip up pieces of paper (red/green) and glue on to create the poppy look.

Paint and Crayon - Paint poppies on to paper.  Then use crayons to create the grass (variety of green crayons)
